Getting ready to receive wings. Jeanne came down to see me graduate from Flying school. She had just turned 18 and I was already 18. Got married when I came home and finished college. We celebrate our 58th anniversary this year. |

We arrive at our new base in France, Beaumont Jur Oise. It was our
little dogs
first trip across the channel - had to teach it to speak French.
Flying on top somewhere over occupied France. Don't remember
anything about mission.
